Description:To prepare cold and hot bulk preparation and supply line, concessions and restaurant with food products according to the prep list.
Duties:• To follow the established recipes while preparing all menu items.
• Set up serving line completely and supply customers with high quality products prepared in a professional and timely manner.
• Always wear proper uniform.
• Check par levels on all products each day.
• Check with and follow supervisor’s direction in regards to banquet and party preparation.
• Notify supervisor of any items that are low or out of stock.
• Ensure that proper sanitation procedures are followed.
• Complete proper storage of all foods at the end of your shift.
• Complete all cleaning procedures prior to leaving.
• Ensure proper rotation of all products for freshness.
• May assist Assistant Kitchen Manager in the daily supervision of Kitchen Staff.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:Canterbury Park is seeking an energetic individual who has a minimum of three years cullinary experience with cold and hot bulk preparation to include entrees, soups, salads, and dressings. HS Diploma/GED or equivalent experience. Previous supervisory experience a plus. While performing the essential functions of this job, this position requires frequent standing and walking. This is a M-F day shift. Must also be able to be flexible as needed to fill in on nights, weekends and holidays. Requires pushing and pulling carts and lifting up to 50 lbs at times. Requires frequent wrist and hand use. Must be able to attain an MRC license.
